Introducing ITSST

The ITSST programme covers the fundamental technical knowledge and skills to understand, install, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software, as well as the soft skills to interact efficiently with colleagues and customers.

You will particularly benefit from using the ITSST material if you are:

• A young person undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship in IT 
• An IT user who want to learn about the move to a practitioner function 
• A returner to work e.g. re-skilling of engineering or administration staff 
• A key ICT Operator for a small or medium business
• A member of the management team in your company 
• An IT NVQ candidate 
• A senior school student

The ITSST material (level 2) provides the foundation for progression to the ITSSP material (level 3).
