Configuring the Software
Once the software installation has been checked and verified, it only remains for it to be configured to suit the user. Almost all applications have an option in the 'tools' (or similar) menu, labelled 'options' or 'settings'. Selection of this option enables the software to be customised to the requirements of the individual user or group of users.

It is important to understand the implications of each setting that is made, and to assist in this, there is generally a facility to interrogate the Help files. In this case it is provided by the '?' button at the top right of the window.
