Hardware components of the PC

A PC consists of a number of components all connected and working together as a unit to provide a fully functional computer system. These components fall into two categories referred to as hardware and software. This section gives a brief overview of each of the hardware components and looks at how they work with one another.

Computer hardware definition:

The term computer hardware refers to the physical components that make up a computer system. Computer hardware refers to everything you can physically touch and see.
